I just stumbled upon the most delicious snack recipe – Garlic Butter Edamame! Let me tell you, I am not one to shy away from flavor, and this little snack packs a punch.

Garlic Butter Edamame

First things first, let’s gather our ingredients:

  • 1 bag frozen edamame (shell on)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Pinch of salt
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Once we have all of our ingredients we can get started on making this simple yet flavorful treat.

Instructions:

  1. Boil the edamame in a pot of salted water for about 5 minutes, until the edamame is cooked through.
  2. In a separate pan, melt the butter and saute the minced garlic until lightly browned and fragrant.
  3. Add the soy sauce and pinch of salt to the pan and mix well.
  4. Add the edamame to the pan with the garlic and soy sauce mixture and toss to coat the edamame in the mixture.
  5. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and then remove from heat.
  6. For an extra touch, sprinkle some sesame seeds over the top for garnish.
